The Italian government inaugurates the Cavour Memorial in Santena
The Minister for Youth Policies Fabiana Dadone cut the tricolor ribbon in Santana (Turin) on Sunday, June 6th, thus officially inaugurating – in the name of the Italian government – the Cavour Memorial. Master of Ceremonies: Marco Boglione, here in his capacity as president of the Camillo Cavour Foundation. The Castle of Santena is now open to the public: through works, memorabilia, furnishings, and interactive paths tell the life of the Piedmontese statesman and the history of the Italian and European Risorgimento. The event took place on the day of the 160th Anniversary of Cavour’s death. Fondazione Cavour broadcasted it in live streaming on its Facebook and its YouTube channel.
