Marco Boglione awards the Premio Cavour 2025 (Cavour Prize) to Riccardo Muti
On Thursday, September 25th, in Santena (Turin), the Cavour Foundation President Marco Boglione awarded the Premio Cavour 2025 (Cavour Prize) to Riccardo Muti, world-renowned conductor, the 2025 Cavour Prize for «masterfully embodying Italian musical and artistic tradition, starting with the work of great composers such as Giuseppe Verdi; he deserves credit for promoting Italy and its values through music as a universal language among peoples». During the ceremony in the Scuderie Garden of the Cavourian Pole, journalist Giovanni Minoli, who received the 2020 Cavour Prize, interviewed Muti. Among other things, the conductor spoke at length about Giuseppe Verdi in front of the audience and the young musicians of the CFM Sneakers Orchestra.
